JAMMU, Mar 13: Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Railways Rajinder Kumar Gupta reviewed the security arrangements at Jammu Railway Station.
During the security meet, certain changes suggested by the police officials were implemented on the spot by the SSP.
He also interacted with the public and assured them that the security apparatus is for the people and they should cooperate with the police.
During meeting with police officers at Government Railway Police Lines, SSP asked them to perform their duties with dedication and zeal to bring good name to the Police Organization.
Gupta after completing a successful stint of deputation in Ministry of External Affairs as Regional Passport Officer Jammu, where he was rated as Country’s 2nd Best Passport Officer in its category held the first meet with the police officers today after taking over as SSP Railways.
In the meeting, it was decided that new customized computer printed forms for Istghasas will be introduced by next week to reduce the manual workload of Investigating Officers, who otherwise are supposed to write the standard wordings every time.
Gupta also listened to the grievances of the officers and assured all possible help.
SDPO Devinder Singh, DySP DAR, SHO Railways and all other officers/ officials were present on the occasion.
