JAMMU, Feb 20: Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) today sealed a residential building in Gandhi Nagar on account of unauthorized construction.
The Enforcement Staff led by the Enforcement Officer, JMC sealed the premises of Davinder Kumar Gupta son of Late Sita Ram Gupta at 29 D/C Gandhi Nagar (Partly), Jammu for undertaking the unauthorized construction work of addition and alteration in the building on ground floor and 1st floor and also construction of one store room in the rear set back area on ground floor without proper permission from Jammu Municipal Corporation.
The whole operation was conducted on the instruction of Mandeep Kaur, Commissioner, JMC and under the supervision of RS Jamwal, Joint Commissioner (Adm), JMC.
The action was taken under Section 8 (1) of J&K Control of Building Operation Act, 1988.
