JAMMU, Feb 8: National Panthers Party (NPP) today asked the BJP to clear their stand on Article 370 over which they have befooled the people of Jammu region.
Lambasting Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) over recent remarks made on inclusion of Dogri in 8th Schedule, NPP leader Chetan Sharma said that it was commitment made in the CMP point number 19 of 2002 over which the then State Government was formed and this point number 19 was inducted by none other than Panthers Party and Prof Bhim Singh.
Addressing media persons here at party headquarter, Sharma said that BJP must educate their people before staking claims over the decisions made on Jammu and Kashmir in New Delhi and instead of taking credits of what they did not do, they should first clear their stand on Article 370.
He urged the people of Jammu to vote for only those parties in future which shall make commitment for the amendment in Article 370 empowering Parliament to amend Article 370 to make J&K an integral part of India.
