JAMMU, Feb 7: Member Parliament and Chairman Trustee of J&K Dharmarth Trust Dr. Karan Singh and Trustee Yuvraj Vkramaditya Singh (MLC) today participated in the Puja Archana of recently renovated Ahatas of more than one lakh Shaligrams at Sri Raghunath Ji Mandir complex Jammu. This Ahata has been renovated by AFCONS INFRASTRUCTURES LTD. Various pujaries performed the pooja. On this occasion a yagya was also held to please the dieties in which purn aahuti was offered by all the participants.
Others who were present on the occasion include representatives of Sanatan Dharam Sabha, Brahman sabha, Rajput sabha, Khatri Sabha, and Raghu Nath Bazar Traders Association. Representatives of various social, religious organizations and political parties also participated in this pooja.
Dr. Karan Singh, in the meanwhile hailed the work done by the Trust in maintaining various temples and shrines in J&K and outside saying that the temples maintained by the Trust are considered the best maintained temples in North India.
After Kirtan, Prasad was offered to the gathering and devotees. President Dharmarth Trust Major General (Retd.) R S Jamwal, Member Council, Secy. Shashi Khajuria, Staff members and Pujaries of the Trust were also present on the occasion.
