Jammu, Jan 8: Due to the sudden demise of Chief Minister Mufti Mohd Sayeed, the protest demonstration by Social Forestry Employees Union (SFEU) on January 11 has been postponed.
A spokesman of the Union said that the protest programme now will be held on January, 15 in front of the office of Social Forestry, Talab Tillo to press the State Government and higher authority of Social Forestry Department for immediate amendment in the recruitment rules of Social Forestry, providing 100% promotion quota to Junior Mali, who have been re-designed by Government from Helper to Junior Mali.
Raj Singh Pawar, Piran Ditta and Updesh Singh, president, vice-president and general secretary, respectively, have strongly condemned the attitude of the higher authorities in the department.
