Prof R L Hangloo appointed as VC of Allahabad University

JAMMU, Dec 18: Son of the soil Prof Rattan Lal Hangloo, Vice Chancellor, University of Kalyani, West Bengal, has been appointed as the Vice-Chancellor of the Allahabad University.
The appointment of Prof Hangloo as the Vice-Chancellor of Allahabad University, was made by President of India.
Professor Hangloo is known as great administrator and renowned Historian. Recently he was presented with the 23rd Dewang Mehta Business School Awards for Outstanding Contribution to Education and Best Vice Chancellor of the country in Mumbai. The Dewang Mehta Awards recognize talent and leadership amongst the Educational Institutes across India.
Prof Rattan Lal Hangloo has also been honoured by Harvard University recently. They have selected him as the Member of Election Analysis Team of the Harvard University. As Vice Chancellor of University of Kalyani, Prof Rattan Lal Hangloo tried his best to boost scientific education among the underprivileged people of the region that are economically and socially backward in the districts of Nadia and Murshidabad.
