SAMBA, Dec 1: A motorcyclist was killed after his bike hit a bridge at Nud in Samba district late this evening.
He has been identified Sandeep Singh, 22, son of Raj Singh of Nud. The motor cyclist was in high speed and on reaching the bridge he lost control over the vehicle which hit the parapet of the bridge resulting into his instant death.
His dead body has been kept in the mortuary at District Hospital Samba. It will be handed over to family members after postmortem tomorrow, police said.
The Samba Police has registered a case in this regard.
