2 elderly pilgrims die of heart attack

KATRA, Nov 21: In separate incidents, two elderly pilgrims of Mata Vaishno Devi died here today due to heart attack.
Reports said that a pilgrim, namely Kashmir Singh (65), son of Hardev Singh of B/702, Shiv Sain Paradise, Mumbai, suffered major heart attack and fell down near Ambalika Point. His family members rushed him to Adhkunwari dispensary where doctors declared him as brought dead.
Another pilgrim, namely Sunder Sham Bhatia (66), son of Tek Chand Bhatia, resident of Khatoli, Muzaffarnagar (UP), was brought to CHC Katra by his family members after he suffered a heart attack while on way to Mata Vaishno Devi shrine. He died soon after his admission in the hospital.
Meanwhile, Bhawan Police helped a female pilgrim to get back her purse, which she had lost near Manokamna Bhawan. The purse, containing Rs 1050, was found by Police patrolling party, which flashed a message about the same. After this,  female pilgrim, namely Pooja, wife of Mohinder Kumar of Mumbai, appeared before Bhawan Police and reported about missing of her purse. After proper verification, Police handed over the purse to the pilgrim.
