JAMMU, Nov 19: A Pakistani prisoner lodged in Central Jail Kot Bhalwal died of kidney failure here in Super Specialty Hospital.
According to a police spokesperson, the prisoner identified as Mohd Ashraf (80) son of Anayat, a resident of Pakistan, was arrested under NDPS Act and was lodged in Central Jail Kot Bhalwal.
“On October 19 he was shifted to Super Specialty Hospital Jammu following a complaint of stomach pain and was still under treatment but expired late last night due to Kidney failure”, he added.
