JAMMU, Nov 16: A delegation of J&K ITI Employees United Front headed by its State president, Nazir Ahmed Molvi met Director Technical Education, Shahnum Kamli in her office chamber at Directorate of Technical Education, here.
The delegation had a detail discussion on the long pending demands which include holding of DPC meeting, in-situ promotion cases of employees pending in the Directorate/DDJ office since long and demanded immediate clearance, Instructional staff be frequently deputed for CTI training/refresher courses, unnecessary litigation should be finalized mutually or otherwise and enhancement of salary of Academic/ consolidated/ Contractual Vocational Instructor at least to the basic pay or to Rs 14000/month as per the NCVT guidelines.
Others demands raised in the meeting were regarding construction of staff quarters/guest house for non-local staff of ITI.
The delegation urged upon the Director Technical Education to consider enlisted demands on priority bases. Director Technical Education assured the delegation appropriate action on the demands will be taken shortly.
Others accompanied the delegation were Karan Singh, Naresh Sharma, Rajinder Singh, Bhushan Khajuria, Madan Gopal, Randhir Singh, Subash Sharma, Raj Singh, Gurdeep Singh and Ashwani Hashia.
