SRINAGAR, Nov 15: Army today said a medical camp was organized at Haidarbeigh area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
A defence spokesman said the camp was organized at Hamare village which evoked an overwhelming response in the area. “A team of doctors including a lady doctor were brought together under one roof to provide a free health check up at Hamare vilage.
Over 600 patients including men, women and children of nearby villages of Hamare were provided medical care at the camp,” he said.
He said the camp was especially organised to mitigate the problems of the masses in remote areas and provide medical facilities. “The initiative was well received by the local public present during the camp, who appreciated this humanitarian initiative of the Army.
The active participation of the locals and their enthusiasm during the event bore testimony of the strengthening ties between the people and its Army,” he added.
