ASTANA, Nov 12: A possible return of Russian border guards to Tajikistan to re-establish Moscow’s control over the border with Afghanistan “is not on the agenda”, the coordinator of the CIS border guard services said today. “This issue is not on the agenda,” Russian Colonel-General Alexander Manilov told reporters in the Kazakh capital Astana. “The (Russian) state has not set such a task.” (AGENCIES)
