Mula Ram asks Cong-men to gear up for Nov 9 prog

RAJOURI, Nov 5:  Senior Congress leader and former Minister  Mula Ram conducted tour of Rajouri district to review the organizational activities of Congress party in the twin border districts of Rajouri-Poonch and to gear up the party cadre to expose the misdeeds and failure of State and Central Governments on all fronts.
Mula Ram, who chaired the meeting of senior Congress leaders and prominent functionaries of the party including contesting candidates, district presidents and block presidents besides interacting with grass root workers at Rajouri and Sunderbani, asked them to gear up their activities to expose the misdeeds of the Modi and Mufti Governments and their failure on all fronts. He also asked workers to expose acts of coalition partners of vitiating the overall atmosphere of traditional harmony and religious brotherhood in the country.
The PCC vice president further said that the opportunistic and unholy alliance of PDP and BJP in the State is the reflection of power hungry approach of the two parties who have created wedge between regions and religions for their vested political interests. He said the party under the leadership of Sonia Gandhi and  Rahul Gandhi has launched  a tirade against the communal and divisive forces.
The meeting was also addressed by PCC chief spokesman Ravinder Sharma, former Minister Shabir Ahmed Khan,  senior leaders Bashir Ahmed Naz, Iqbal Malik,   Ch Sain Rashid, DCC president Rajouri and DCC chief Poonch  Rajinder Singh Kaka.
Prominent among others present included Hari Singh Chib, Som Nath, Lalit Mahajan, Rajesh Bittu, Pushpinder Gupta, Shafeeq Mir, Raj Kumar, Yashpal, Badri Nath, Mohd Sadiq, Qaramat Ali Malik, Imran Zaffar, Sajad Tariq, Badardin Malik, Subash Sharma, Iqbal Shawl, Rajinder Singh, Jagdish Raj, Parmod Jandial, Anil Chuga,  Bal Krishan, Moulvi Farooq, Iftikhar Dar, Shabir Pathan, Dwarika Nath, Lok Raj Khajuria, Joginder Singh, Shamim Akhtar, Anil Khajuria, Ashwani Sharma,  Kashmir Singh, Tirath Ram-Sarpanch and Harbans Lal.
