Beti Bachao Girls Cricket C’ship begins

JAMMU, Oct 24: First Beti Bachoo Girls Cricket Championship has began today at Nav Vidhya Higher Secondary School, Dhalote, orgainsed by Sports Development Society, Samba.
Six teams of different schools and sports clubs are participating in this T-20 Cricket Championship. D K Manyal, MLA Samba constituency was the chief guest who inaugurated the championship. Sanjeev Padha, mandal president, BJP was the guest of honour.
Others distinguished guests were Puram Singh, Pawan Singh, Pawan Sharma, Jyoti Kumdal, Seema Rajput, Radhika Sambyal, Archana Devi, Ranjana Devi, Neetu Sambyal, Neetu Badyal, Keerti Slathia, Poonam Sambyal and Shagun Sambyal.
In first match, Nav Vidhya Higher Secondary School, Dhalote defeated Sports Club by 82 runs. Women of the match was declared Shabmam Rajput who scored 79 runs.
In second match, Shivaji High School, Patyari defeated Taloor Cricket Club by 12 runs, Woman of the Match was declared Minakshi Devi who secured 25 runs.
In third match, Modern Institute of Education, Sumb defeated JBS Institute, Goran. Woman of the match was declared Neelam Rajput who scored 44 runs.
The matches were officiated by Roopa Sambyal, Rajan Sambyal and Vishal Dev Singh.
