POONCH, Oct 13: A function was organized by Youth Wing of Gujjar Vikas Sangathan (GVS) held a function here, today to discuss the future challenges faced by the Gujjar students in particular and community in general.
The function which was chaired by Haji Mohammed Ashraf secretary of the organisation urged the Gujjar community to pay attention towards the education of their wards and utilize the opportunity provided by the Government for the uplfitment of the community.
It urged the youth to be ready for the future challenges. Citing the example of Ibtisaam Hakla Choudhary, daughter of Shamsher Hakla Poonchi a prominent Gujjar leader, he said the girl has brought laurels to the entire community by seeking 469 marks out of 500 marks in Class 10th annual examination of 2015 held by JKBSE after revaluation of results.
During the function Sangthan presented an award of honour to her.
