JAMMU, Sept 21: All Kashmiri Migrant Relief holders in a meeting at Jagti township today demanded special package for over-aged displaced youth.
The meeting, which was chaired by Ajay Bhat said that 15,000 migrant employees retired since 1990 and the Government should recruit the unemployed youth in lieu of that by launching a special employment drive in various Government offices and police.
The meeting expressed concern over failure of Government to make the ration available at ration ghats of Jagti and other camps and said despite the announcement of Deputy Chief Minister at Jagti recently no ration was available at ration depots. It demanded that ration should reach the depots before 15 the of every month.
The meeting demanded posting of teaching and non teaching staff in Jagti schools immediately. Sunil Pandita, M L Ganjoo, Sunil Raina and others addressed the meeting.
