MENDHAR-Sept 7: A high voltage drama took place near Line of Control as a Numberdar of forward area was not allowed by the Army authorities to cross border fencing gate, here today.
The Numberdar of Balakote area, identified as Mohd Aarif Pathan, was on way from Balakote to Mendhar along with his wife in his Swift car and he had to cross the fencing gate for reaching his destination.
The trouble erupted after Jawans of 97-Artillery Regiment did not open gate of Basnoi Dharan Gate of border fencing after which the Numberdar called some locals and Police.
The issue was resolved after the intervention of Police and senior officers of Army.
