Boy killed, 5 injured in road mishaps

SRINAGAR, Sept 5: A boy was killed while five others were injured in different road accidents across the Valley.
A police spokesman said that an Alto car hit and injure a boy identified as Imran Ahmed Ganie at Naidkhai in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district. “The injured was shifted to JVC Srinagar where he succumbed to his injuries.
He said a truck bearing registration number JK02W/0017 hit and injure a pedestrian identified as Rambir Singh Nepora in Mirbazaar area of Kulgam district. “The injured has been shifted to District Hospital Anantnag for treatment.
The police spokesman said a vehicle (709) bearing registration number JK09/9988 hit a motorcycle bearing registration number JK01M/1293 near Petrol Pump Seloo in Sopore area of Baramulla district, resulting in injuries to motorcyclist Javaid Ahmed Waza. He said the injured was shifted to SMHS Srinagar here for treatment.
A Scooty bearing registration number JK01D/4666 hit and injure a pedestrian namely Nazir Ahmed on Eidgah road Bijbehara in Anantnag district, the police spokesman said. “The Scooty rider namely Named Ahmed Nada and a pillion Zahid Ahmed Rather son were also injured in this incident. All the injured have been shifted to the hospital for treatment.
