UDHAMPUR, Sept 4: ARTO Udhampur Rajesh Gupta personally conducted a route survey of Chenani, Latti, Dudu, Basantgarh, Ramnagar and identified black spots, which need immediate attention to avoid mishaps.
During the survey, the ARTO assessed road condition and traffic situation on these hilly routes. He challaned 15 passenger vehicles for violation of traffic norms and overloading.
The ARTO also checked on the spot fitness of passenger busses plying on the roads and asked the drivers to maintain time table.
On the demand of locals, he also ordered restoration of passenger buses on some routes.
