Daljit interacts with farmers

JAMMU, Sept 3: Jammu and Kashmir Kissan Advisory Board undertook a three days tour to many places in Rajouri and Poonch districts which concluded today.
During the tour Vice Chairman of the Board Daljit Singh Chib interacted with the farmers at Chowki-Chora, Rai-Salyat, Sunderbani in Bal-Bakhar areas of Rajouri district. He also visited various areas of district Poonch.
Chib said that aim to organize tour was to reach to the farmers at their fields and see on spot the problems being faced by them in their day to day work and making the officers of the Agriculture and allied department answerable to the queries of the farmers.
During this visit it was observed by the Vice Chairman that the farmers have realized full benefits of good monsoon and the kharief crops stand completely sown in all the areas. The farmers were of the view that the present trend of the monsoons will result in good prospects of crops.
At Sunderbani, Chib was accompanied by Ravinder Raina, MLA and at Rajouri he was accompanied by Kuldip Raj Gupta, Vice Chairman Pahari Board and MLA Rajouri Chowdhary Qamar Hussain and Bharat Bushan Vaid. At Poonch Shah Mohammad Tantray, MLA and Pardeep Sharma accompanied the Vice Chairman. District Development Commissioner Poonch and SSP Poonch were also present during the visit of the Vice Chairman.
