NEW DELHI : Expressing concern over the non-state actors unleashing violence over large parts of the world territory, Prime Minister Narendra Modi today called for collective global endeavour to end conflict and bring peace.
Addressing the Global Hindu Buddhist Conclave here, the Prime Minister emphasised the need of dialogue to resolve all conflicts.
Only dialogue without anger can defeat forces of violence, Mr Modi said.
He stressed that the life and philosophy of Gautam Buddha provided solution for anger and resolving conflict.
Mr Modi said Buddha’s life was more relevant today that in any other period.
Buddhism and environment were also closely related, he said. The problem of climate change was in fact related to climate justice, the Prime Minister added. (AGENCIES)
