NSF protests against closure of PG courses in DDE

JAMMU, Sept 2:  The members of National Secular Forum (NSF) today held a protest demonstration to lodge their protest against Jammu University authorities for allegedly playing with the future of students who are enrolled in PG courses in Economics and Political Science at Directorate of Distance Education.
The protesting NSF members raised slogans against the JU authorities and demanded admission to the affected students in regular courses.
Addressing a gathering, NSF district president Rishikesh Rana strongly condemned the DDE administration for closing down PG courses of Economics and Political Science in the mid-session leaving the students in utter dismay.  It is the criminal negligence and ignorance on the part of University authorities particularly Coordinator of both the courses who failed to prepare study material of the respective courses and also to fulfill the criteria of UGC, he elaborated.
The NSF demanded action against the erring Course Coordinators and adjustment of the students in the regular departments of the University.
Among those who were present in the protest,  included, Amit Sagotra, Navjoot Singh, Ayush Singh Charak, Arun Manhas, Sahil Manhas, Abhinandan Bhau, Nikhil Singh, Sam Manhas, Prince Sharma, Rohit Sharma, Ajay Sharma and others.
