CHENNAI, Aug 29:
Tamil Superstar Rajnikanth’s next flick “Kabali’ would go on floors on September 17 in Chennai and not in Malaysia as said earlier. There were reports that ‘Kabali’ will go on floors from September 17 in Malaysia.
But sources close to the actor confirm that the first few sequences of it would be shot in Chennai.
The crew will go to Malaysia only later. It may be recalled that Rajinikanth had shot for a few scenes in Chennai in his movie ‘Endhiran’.
‘Kabali’ would be Rajini’s 159th film and it also stars Radhika Aptre, Kalaiarasan, Prakashraj and Dhanshikaa.
Music is by Santosh Narayanan and camera by Murali.
Produced by Kalaipuli S Dhanu, Kabali is directed by ‘Madras’ fame Ranjith.
Based on the story of a Chennai-based don, Kabali will have Rajinikanth sporting salt and pepper look along with thick beard.
