Srinagar, Aug 29: Police today said a person died while three others were injured in different road mishaps in Valley.
A police spokesman said a Tipper bearing registration number JK01N/3337 hit a motorcycle bearing registration number JK05B/6089 at Hadipora near Chatloora Crossing Rafiabad area of Baramulla district resulting in on spot death of the motorcyclist identified as 18 year old Imran Ahmad Sheikh.
He said a Scooty bearing registration number JK05D/8853 rammed into a willow tree at Malpora in Bomie village of north Kashmir’s Sopore in Baramulla district resulting in injuries to the Scooty rider identified as Momin Javid Baba. The spokesman said the injured was shifted to Sub District Hospital Sopore for treatment wherefrom he has been referred to SKIMS Soura in city here.
In another accident, he said, a Maruti Car bearing registration number JK05D/1457 hit and injure a pedestrian namely Zona near Pethseer Crossing in Tarzoo area of Sopore. “The injured has been shifted to SMHS Hospital for treatement,” the spokesman said.
The police spokesman further said that a truck bearing registration number JK05D-5484 and a Trailer bearing registration number PB06B/7125 collided near PHE Division Bijbehara in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district resulting in injuries to the Truck Driver namely Talib Rashid
“The injured has been shifted to hospital for treatment,” the police spokesman said, adding, cases have been registered in all these mishaps.
