Jammu, Aug 21: The members of National Secular Forum (NSF) today held strong demonstration on the main gate of Jammu University to express resentment against the faulty evaluation of answer scripts of various under-graduate and post-graduate courses.
Led by their District president Reshikesh Rana, the protesting NSF members raised slogans and demanded immediate overhauling of the evaluation and re-evaluation process to set the things in order. Rana alleged that the evaluation of answer scripts was so faulty that students are surprised to see the results.
“It is strange to see that failed candidate gets more than 20 marks in re-evaluation and passes whereas a passed candidate when goes for the same to improve his marks he is declared failed. If such is the variation in evaluation of answer-scripts then University administration must explain as to why such things happen that is a cruel joke to the innocent students,” Rana said.
