Crude palm oil futures fall on subdued demand

NEW DELHI, Aug 21:  Crude palm oil prices fell Rs 1.50 to Rs 389.50 per 10 kg in futures trade today as traders offloaded positions amid subdued demand in spot market.
Higher supplies from major producing areas and weak trend at overseas markets too weighed on crude palm oil prices at futures trade, analysts said.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude palm oil for delivery in September fell by Rs 1.50, or 0.38 per cent, to Rs 389.50 per 10 kg in a business turnover of 158 lots.
The oil for delivery in August traded lower by Rs 1.30, or 0.33 per cent, to Rs 386.20 per 10 kg in 174 lots. (PTI)
