*Releases Rs 1.75 lakh for PHC Kallar

RAJOURI, Aug 18: Minister for Transport, Abdul Ghani Kohli chaired a meeting of Rogi Kalyan Samiti of PHC Kallar, Chatyar and approved an amount of Rs 1.75 lakh for purchase of life saving drugs and other items for patients.
He directed that the new building will be handed over to the concerned authorities by November this year besides funds for installation of mast light and 25 KV transformer for PHC will be provided out of CDF. Regarding the matter of posting of Junior Staff Nurse and separate water supply for PHC, the Minister assured to take up the matter with the concerned Ministers.
Assuring the members of the Samiti to equip this institution with modern facilities, the Minister asked them to serve this institution with honesty and sincerity to provide better facilities to the patients.
Kohli directed the concerned departments to give priority to the quality while executing the works in the hospital and also instructed the hospital authority to fix priorities of the work required to be done.
Earlier, in order to have the first hand appraisal of ground situation at Balakote sector, the Minister visited Mendhar tehsil.
Extending his deepest condolence to the family of Sarpanch Karamat, who was killed due to unprovoked firing by the Pakistan, Kohli condemned the cease fire violation and unprovoked firing by Pakistan and called for immediate restoration of peace. He said that the ceasefire violation has adversely hit the lives of the border population and put the peace process at halt.
