Villagers protest against Health authorities

SRINAGAR, July 8: The irate people in Butwani village in Ganderbal district of Kashmir valley today protested against the Health authorities for their failure to provide the staff and doctors at the health Centre Butwani.
The protest was led by Mir Ghulam Rasool, chief spokesperson People’s Republican Party (PRP) and other local leaders of the area. The protestors while raising slogans against CMO Ganderbal said that he had promised a delegation of locals yesterday that he will visit the village today along with other officers and start the night shift in the hospital for the facility of the people. But the CMO failed to keep his word and instead dispatched BMO.
The protestors said the Hospital in Butwani sans doctors and other staff while the machinery is not functioning with the result the people especially the ailing persons coming to hospital for treatment are put to problems.
