Two year B.Ed course

Sir,
The news of  increasing the course duration of B.Ed and M.Ed Programme from one year to two years in University of Jammu is extremely disturbing to our youth. It becomes more biased and prejudicial if such courses in Kashmir University are of one year as alleged by the National Secular Form (NSF) in DE  June, 14, 2015.
The  discrimination, prima facie, appears illogical and totally unjustified. What necessitates JU to go for such move to cut the wings of our educated youth already victimised due to poor recruitment policy and unabated phenomenon of  unemployment. Graph of unemployment can’t be reduced by lengthening such courses. Only healthy recruitment policy and generation of employment opportunities can help our youth who are now in dire need of it. Hence, the duration of such course deserves to be kept unchanged.
Yours etc…
