Development of rural areas Govt’s top priority: Shamsher

JAMMU, June 22: Seeking people’s cooperation to strengthen the developmental initiatives of the Government, Member Parliament Shamsher Singh Manhas has asserted that the present regime is committed to develop backward and far-flung areas at par with urban pockets.
This was stated by the Member Parliament   during a function organized by the Ratnal Residents Welfare Committee at village Ratnal in Bishnah.
On the occasion, various deputations from village Ratnal and adjoining areas met the Member Parliament and apprised him about their grievances and demands.
The demands projected by the people include bus service, dispensary, water and power supply, construction of boundary wall at cremation ground etc. The MP assured the people that their genuine demands would be given due consideration besides sheds, water/power connections, bathrooms, sitting hall etc at cremation ground would be constructed soon.
Chairman of the Committee Ganga Singh Charak, President Rashpal Singh Charak, Organizer Ex-Capt Swaran Singh Charak, Advisor Youth Plus, S. Kulwant Singh also spoke on the occasion.
