UDHAMPUR, June 12: The officials of Udhampur Forest Division have seized Nag Chatri, weighing 4.60 Kgs, a medical herb from village Gunu in Latti area.
The team led by Block Officer, Bandhole along with field staff under the close supervision of Surinder Nath, Range Officer, Duru, Harmohinder Sing, DFO, Udhampur and B M Sharma, CF East Circle, Jammu made the seizure.
However, the culprits fled away from the spot taking the advantage of darkness by leaving behind the bag containing Nag Chatri.
The search operation is being carried out by the staff of Udhampur Forest Division to trace out the culprits.
