JAMMU, Aug 14: In a major reshuffle in the higher and subordinate judiciary, State High Court today ordered transfers and postings of 54 District/ Additional Session Judges, Chief Judicial Magistrates, Sub-Judges and Munsiffs with immediate effect.
These transfers were approved in the Full Court meeting of High Court Judges convened by the Chief Justice, M M Kumar through video conferencing.
According to the orders, Suresh Kumar Sharma, Principal Secretary to Chief Justice has been transferred and posted as Registrar General, State High Court vice Janak Raj Kotwal. Mohd Yousaf Akhoon, Registrar Judicial of High Court, Srinagar Wing has been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary to Chief Justice vice Suresh Kumar Sharma.
Aijaz Ahmed Mir, Special Judge, Anti-corruption Srinagar, whose services have been placed at the disposal of Chief Justice for posting in the Registry, has been posted as Registrar Judicial, High Court, Srinagar Wing vice Mohammad Yousaf Akhoon. Rakesh Sagar Jain, Principal District and Sessions Judge Samba has been transferred and posted as Registrar Judicial, High Court, Jammu Wing vice Pawan Dev Kotwal.
Amit Kumar Gupta, Sub-Judge Kupwara has been transferred and posted as Joint Registrar Judicial High Court, Jammu Wing vice Khalil Ahmad Choudhary.
According to another order, Janak Raj Kotwal, Registrar General of High Court has been transferred and posted on deputation as Member, J&K Special Tribunal Jammu vice Sanjay Kumar Gupta, who has been repatriated from deputation and posted as Additional District and Sessions Judge, Jammu vice Ravinder Nath Wattal.
Ravinder Nath Wattal, Additional District and Sessions Judge, Jammu has been transferred and posted on deputation as Secretary High Court Legal Services Committee against vacant post. Puneet Gupta, Additional District and Sessions Judge, Kathua has been transferred and posted as Special Judge, Anticorruption Jammu vice Kartar Singh.
Kartar Singh, Special Judge Anticorruption Jammu has been transferred and posted as Principal District and Sessions Judge Samba vice Rakesh Sagar Jain.
Pawan Dev Kotwal, Registrar Judicial, High Court, Jammu Wing has been transferred and posted Principal District and Sessions Judge, Kishtwar vice Mohan Lal, who has been posted as Special Judge Anticorruption Srinagar vice Aijaz Ahmad Mir.
Kaneez Fatima, Principal District and Sessions Judge, Srinagar has been transferred and posted as Principal District and Sessions Judge, Baramulla vice Mohd Shafi Khan, who has been posted as Principal District and Sessions Judge, Srinagar vice Kaneez Fatima. Jawad Ahmed, Additional District Judge, Anticorruption Srinagar has been transferred and posted as Additional District and Sessions Judge Pulwama.
Jeema Bashir, Additional District and Sessions Judge, Pulwama has been transferred and posted as Additional District Judge Anticorruption Srinagar vice Jawad Ahmad. Yash Pal Bourney, Principal District and Sessions Judge Leh has been transferred and posted as 1st Additional District and Sessions Judge Jammu.
Kikar Singh Parihar, 1st Additional District and Sessions Judge, Jammu has been transferred and posted as Additional District and Sessions Judge, Doda. Inder Singh, Additional District and Sessions Judge, Doda has been transferred and posted on deputation as Member J&K Sales Tax Tribunal. Sanjay Parihar, Member J&K Sales Tax Tribunal has been repatriated from deputation and posted as Principal District and Sessions Judge Leh vice Yash Paul Bourney.

Kusum Lata Pandita, CJM Ramban has been transferred and posted on the Leave Reserve Post, High Court Jammu Wing. Sudhir Kumar, Leave Reserve Post, High Court, Jammu Wing has been transferred and posted as Sub-Judge Jammu.
Yahaya Firdous Ahangar, Sub-Judge Jammu has been transferred and posted as CJM Leh vice Som Lal. Masarat Roohi, Forest Magistrate, Srinagar has been transferred and posted as CJM Sopore. Javid Ahmed Geelani, CJM Sopore has been transferred and posted as Sub-Judge Kupwara vice Amit Kumar Gupta.
Masarat Shaheen, Passenger Tax and Electricity Magistrate, Srinagar has been transferred and posted as CJM Pulwama. Mohd Ashraf Bhat, CJM Pulwama has been transferred and posted as Sub-Judge Uri. Sarfraz Hussain Shah, Sub-Judge Uri has been transferred and posted as Special Mobile Magistrate Traffic Jammu.
Naushad Ahmed Khan, Special Mobile Magistrate Traffic Jammu has been transferred and posted as Sub-Judge Batote. Ajay Kumar Gupta, Sub-Judge Batote has been transferred and posted as CJM Kishtwar. Yash Pal Sharma, District Mobile Magistrate (T), Kathua with additional charge of Munsiff Mahanpur has been transferred and posted Munsiff Jammu.
