JAMMU, May 27: The employees of Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu and associated hospitals along with the office bearers of Medical Employees Association (MEA) today met Dr Ghanshyam Dev, Principal, GMCH, Jammu, and apprised him of their genuine problems and demands.
In meeting with the Principal, Pardeep Sharma, president, MEA, raised the issue of delayed conduction of DPC despite assurances to make it a regular process for the welfare of employees. The other issues raised by MEA president were non-cooperation of the hospital administration in getting personal loans from banks, delayed issuance of orders for time bound promotions of employees and delay in processing of GP Fund cases thereby defeating the purpose of saving.
Babila Rakwal, Administrator, Associated Hospitals and Dr Ravinder Rattan Paul, Medical Superintendent, GMCH, Jammu, were also present in the meeting along with Principal GMCH.
All the members of administration while considering the issue as genuine assured that the problems raised shall be surely redressed soon to explore the promotional avenue of the employees.
The office bearers of MEA who attended the meeting were Davinder Rathore, Farooq Quaser, Bishan Verma, Ashok Sharma, Ashok Manhas, Pawanjeet, Sunita Hashiya, Krishna, Radha Rathore, Naresh Kumar and many others.
