PDP Minority Wing for simplifying bifurcation of ration cards

JAMMU, Apr 20: Minority Wing of People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has demanded simplifying the procedure for bifurcation of ration cards for migrants, enhancement of monthly cash relief, delivery of yearly ration tickets and distribution of timely ration to all the migrant depots and enhancement of cash relief.
These demands were discussed by a team of party leaders under the leadership of A K Sidha senior leader of the Party with newly appointed general secretary of PDP and former MLA Rafiq Ahmed Mir.
The delegation demanded that the Government should adopt a permanent policy for settling the problems of the displaced Pandits. It said the displaced Pandits have high hopes in the Party leadership.
The Minority Wing leaders also demanded providing of health care facilities, water supply, electricity, roads and drains in all camp and non camp localities.
Mr Mir assured the PDP Minority wing that he will take up all these issues with the Government.
The Wing has also expressed its satisfaction over the decisions taken by Minister of Relief in settling some ling pending problems of the community and termed it a positive development.
Those present in the meeting include O N Saproo, Ashok Dhar, B B Sadhu,Sunil Bali Sahab Ji, R J Bawnoo, M K Raina, Bansi Lal Mukhi, Sunil Ji Bhat and Mohan Ji.
