JAMMU, Mar 27: Hundreds of devotees drawn from different parts thronged the Sharda temple Bantalab where the two days religious function in connection with Uma Bhagwati Jayanti started.
During the two day Jayanti function a Maha Yagya will also be performed. It will culminate tomorrow with Puranahuti. The devotees participated in bhajan kirtan and religious discourses. The religious scholars threw light on the Uma Jayanti and the religious significance. The devotees will also be served with Prashad after Puranahuti tomorrow.
