JAMMU, Mar 27: The nine -day long Padyatra by crawling of Swami Dinesh Bharti concluded at Mahakali Temple at Bawe here this morning.
The yatra was started on first day of Navratra by Swami Dinesh Bharti hero of Amarnath land row agitation from his Ashram in Gajansoo Marh.
During last eight days Swami Ji crawled to reach the holy temple of Mata at Bawe.
Hundreds of devotees accompanied the Swami Ji during the darshan.
Swami Ji during his yatra stopped at various localities for night halt. He was given a grand reception by devotees enroute. They showered flowers on him.
As Swami Ji reached the holy temple for darshan the chanting of religious mantras rent the air.
The devotees showered flowers over him. Swami Ji in the temple paid his obeisance to Goddess Kali and prayed for the peace and prosperity of the State, end to present turmoil and blood shed caused due to militant strikes.
He said it was the willingness of Goddess that he undertook the yatra. Swami Ji said he will continue to perform his duty as Dharam Guru and preacher.
Swami Ji has been recently inducted in the Margdarshak Mandli of VHP and he held various religious programmes in different parts of Jammu. VHP senior vice president and a well known social activist Prabhu Dayal Gupta, its general secretary, Dr Shyam Lal Gupta, VHP leader Rajesh Bhasin and Bajrang Dal leaders Rakesh Sharma, Kartik Sudan and Dilip Singh accompanied Swami Ji.
Earlier Swami Ji started his journey from Khajuria Basti near Bahu fort early in the morning where he had a night halt and it took him five hours to reach holy temple via crawling.
