HYDERABAD : Gold bars worth over Rs one crore have been seized from the possession of four women at the Rjiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA here today. The accused, who were allegedly trying to smuggle gold bars into the country, were intercepted by customs officials after their arrival from Bangkok, custom officials said here. On questioning about possession of any dutiable /prohibited goods, the passengers replied in negative. However, after detailed examination, the officers recovered four kg gold bars from the passengers.
