Educational institutions celebrate Maha Shivratri

JAMMU, Feb 16: Various educational institutions celebrated Maha Shivratri festival with religious fervour and gaiety.
Students and staff of RM Public School celebrated Maha Shivratri. On the occasion, the chief guest was Rameshwar Mengi, Chairman of the institution, who performed pooja in presence of Trustee Reeta Mengi. Students of primary and pre-primary wing took part in dance items and sang bhajans. Principal Ravinder Kour, Vice Principal Shashi Jamwal and Administrator Meenakshi Sharma were also present.
Indira Kids Playway School, Janipur celebrated Maha Shivratri with religious fervour. On the occasion, students presented variety of cultural items. Principal of the institution threw light on the importance of the day.
Maha Shivratri was celebrated by Mother Care Kids Club, Peer Mitha. Shalini Mahajan, Principal highlighted the importance of the day. On the occasion, fancy dress and bhajan singing competitions were organized and the winners were awarded with prizes.
