Valley to host 5000 adventurists

Srinagar, Feb 16: The Kashmir valley is likely to receive 5000 adventurists this year which will give fillip to the State’s tourism.
The development was confirmed by National Chairman of Youth Hostel Association of India, Vinkatanarayan to Director Tourism, Kashmir, Farooq Ahmad Shah during an interaction with the latter.
Shah said that the participants will indulge in different adventure activities like cycling, trekking and other related activities.
Shah said that Vinkatanarayan has agreed to do the camps in Srinagar, Dodhpathri, Pahalgam, Kokernag, Verinag so that the whole tourism circuit is involved.
He said that such activities are aimed at promoting the State as a tourism destination.
