JAMMU, Jan 22: District Bar Association, Udhampur today decided to extend the strike against Deputy Commissioner Udhampur till January 27.
The decision was taken in the light of statement of the Deputy Commissioner that protest of the advocates was based on hidden agenda.
The statement was discussed in the meeting of Bar Association held today and it was unanimously decided that till the Deputy Commissioner and other officers are shifted protest will continue.
“The Bar at the first instance decided to observe strike till January 27 when the Bar members will again meet to discuss the further course of action”, Secretary of District Bar Association Udhampur said in a statement.
