JAMMU, Jan 22: Kashmiri Pandit Conference (KPC) president Kundan Kashmiri has expressed concern over erosion of Kashmiri Pandit (KP) community and urged the elders of the community to act as custodian and watch dogs so as to preserve the ethos of the community.
He stated this while interacting with various groups of KP community in Jammu and Udhampur districts.
KPC president stated that the rise in community evils like ignoring and isolating parents and elders, increase in divorces, inter-caste marriage, gradual decrease in KP community population and neglecting mother tongue have become a matter of grave concern and the elders of the community should works unitedly against these evils.
“KP youths have distanced themselves from well laid down ethos of the community, which is also a matter of concern”, he said, adding that to aware the youth about the community evils is the need of the hour and this work could be performed by elders of the community.
