SRINAGAR, July 29 : Annual festival and yatra of Pracheen cave of Lord Shiva at Thajiwara (Bijbehara), Anantnag will be held on 2nd August 2012 on the eve of Shravan-Puranmashi.
According to the President Devasthan Prabandak Committee, Prof M L Malla, thousands of Kashmiri Pandit devotees from different parts the country as well as abroad are expected to participate in this annual yatra.
It is pertinent to mention that this cave has a tremendous religious importance in the Valley since long and is also regarded to be a part of annual Shri Amarnath yatra.
