JAMMU, Jan 19: Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee senior vice president and former MP, Janak Raj Gupta today called on All India Congress Committee (AICC) president Sonia Gandhi in New Delhi and discussed current political scenario of the State with her.
Discussing recent political developments with party president, Mr Gupta told Ms Gandhi that the party needs to be rejuvenated after thorough introspection over its performance in the recent elections. He also discussed revival strategies and stressed upon the need for working on a blueprint of action plan to revive party in the State.
Expressing his faith in the party leadership, Mr Gupta hoped that all the shortcomings would be corrected soon and the party would bounce back in the state under the stewardship of party president Sonia Gandhi and vice president Rahul Gandhi.
