JAMMU, Jan 17: National general secretary of Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), MP and in-charge of J&K, Narender Kumar Kashyap today criticized Modi led Central Government for increasing excise duty on petrol and diesel by rupees two.
In a statement, Kashyap said BJP Government at the Centre is not cutting the prices of petrol and diesel according to the price cut of crude oil in international market and in this way the Central Government is contributing in price hike of essential commodities.
Kashyap also accused the Central Government of imposing President Rule in J&K and indirectly ruling the State.
Meanwhile, Kashyap also welcomed the decision of BSP National president, Kumari Mayawati to appoint Tarsem Khullar as president of J&K BSP. He claimed that this year BSP will make 25000 new members in first phase in J&K.
