JAMMU, July 24: A joint meeting of Associations of JKPDD viz JKEEGA , J&KDEA, PPEU was convened here today in which besides various burning issues including the harassment faced by PDD employees at various levels was highlighted.
In a statement the Committee said that instead of appreciating the 24×7 efforts put in by PDD engineers along with staff to maintain whatever supply can be provided, the staff is instead demoralized by hasty and jumpy decisions taken by the authorities without establishing the facts prior to taking action.
The meeting said that the Department is already short of technical manpower and is running on out-dated equipment with under capacity infrastructure.
