JAMMU, July 24: Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Party Nationalist (DPN) today appointed Sidharth Mehta as Provincial President Jammu.
This was disclosed by Kuldip Wahi, State senior vice president during a press conference here this morning. Wahi said that in consultations with Ghulam Hassan Mir, State president of DPN and Agriculture Minister, the office bearers of the Jammu province and Youth wing were elected.
Raj Jain was appointed as vice president whereas Advocate Romesh Chander was appointed as general secretary. Dr Vijay Puri was appointed as secretary.
Wahi also announced the names of the newly appointed office bearers of the Youth wing DPN.
Rajeev Gupta was appointed as president youth wing whereas Rupinder Singh Goldy was appointed as vice president.
Kapil Gupta, Akash Kohli and Sanjeev Singh Rakhwal were appointed as vice presidents while Vipul Bali and Advocate Ravinder Sharma were appointed as general secretaries.
Anku Mahajan, Rajeshwar Bakshi and Jatinder Singh were appointed as secretaries while Arun Sensen as treasurer.
Kuldip Wahi stated that their party would strive hard to ensure the political and economical development of all the three regions of State so as to set an example before the country.
He said that their party would carry the message of brotherhood and harmony in the State under the leadership of Ghulam Hassan Mir, State president and Agriculture Minister.
The newly elected office bearers vowed to give whole-hearted support to carry out the mission undertaken by the party.
