JAMMU, Nov 17: In continuation with the Party’s series of “Aarop Patra” against NC-Congress Coalition Government, the State BJP filed second Aarop Patra today terming “transfers/ postings/ attachments as an industry” run by Omar Abdullah regime for the last six years in the State.
BJP State spokesperson, Sunil Sethi (advocate), along with another spokesperson Balbir Ram Rattan, Suresh Ajay Mangotra while addressing media persons here lambasted the State’s Coalition Government for resorting to selective transfers of Government employees on monetary considerations which is known to public also and this is the root cause of corruption in the State. BJP is totally against such malpractices and have been raising voice against it, Sethi added.
He said that NC-Congress coalition has failed to come up to the expectations of the common man of the State. Mass transfers and postings at the fag end of this Government’s six years tenure itself speak of the gravity of situation. Transfers and postings have become an industry in the State wherein money exchanges hands and people, irrespective of their tenures and qualifications are posted at preferred places. Such transfers, which are obtained because of corruption in turn starts a chain reaction and lead to corruption of the whole system as a person who gets posting because of corruption also indulge in the same.
The Coalition Government has systematically destroyed the whole administrative system by resorting to such tactics which is required to be enquired into. Resorting to mass transfer at the fag end of Government is last bit effort to amass money by corrupt means which is not only highly objectionable but crime too.
The BJP spokesperson, while appealing the people of Jammu and Kashmir to vote for BJP candidates in their respective areas, said that the Party after achieving mission 44+ and forming Government, will frame total transparent, fair and effective transfer policy.
