Shoddy investigation leads to acquittal of alleged HM terrorists

Excelsior Correspondent
JAMMU, Oct 30: Principal Sessions Judge Kishtwar Bala Joyti today acquitted two alleged terrorists of HM as the investigation was shoddy.
These two alleged terrorists namely Javed Ahmed and Ghulam Haider belonging to banned outfit HM, voluntarily surrendered before Army and Police in Kishtwar on May 20, 2009 along with illegal and prohibited weapons.
After hearing both the sides, Principal Sessions Judge observed, “prosecution has miserably failed to prove charge against the accused persons beyond reasonable doubt”. Accordingly, the court acquitted them.
