JAMMU, Oct 18: The strike cum-protest dharna launched by Patwaris of the region in front of Divisional Commissioner’s office reached the second consecutive day today.
The Patwaris under the banner of All J&K Patwar Association have gone on two-day pen down strike. The Patwaris and GQs from Jammu and Samba have joined the protest. They are demanding immediate issuance of final order of DPC of Patwaris. They have submitted a memorandum to the Divisional Commissioner seeking issuance of final order of DPC of the cadre.
Today on the second day of pen down strike Patwaris and Girdawars from Samba and Jammu districts kept sitting on protest dharna at the venue and raised slogans against Divisional Commissioner and AC Central.
