Mahajan reviews preparations for 12 Yrs of Development’ campaign

JAMMU, June 3: A review meeting was held here today under the chairmanship of Rakesh Mahajan, BJP State vice president, in-charge Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha and State in-charge of the ’12 Years of Development, Trust and Public Welfare’ campaign.
The meeting reviewed preparations for the nationwide campaign being organized from June 5 to June 21 to mark 12 years of transformative governance, development, public welfare and people-centric policies under the leadership of PM Modi.
Special emphasis was laid on the launch of nationwide environmental initiative ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ on June 5, World Environment Day, which will be observed across the country following call by PM Modi.
The meeting was attended by BJP State general secretaries-Baldev Singh Billawaria and Gopal Mahajan, State secretaries-Pawan Sharma, Reema Padha, Arun Sharma, Mahila Morcha State president Neha Mahajan, BJYM State vice president Priyanka Mahajan along with other members of the campaign team.
Speaking in the meeting, Rakesh Mahajan emphasized that the campaign should reach every section of the society to reflect the commitment of BJP and PM Modi led Government towards sustainable development, environmental protection and public welfare.
He stated that various programmes will be organized throughout the fortnight, culminating on June 21 with International Yoga Day celebrations and several Union Ministers and senior party leaders are also expected to participate in different activities during the campaign period.
Baldev Singh Billawaria and Gopal Mahajan also spoke on the occasion.
It was also noted that the campaign is being regularly monitored by BJP J&K president, Sat Sharma and organization general secretary Ashok Koul.
